Yes, the Payconiq application works wherever your smartphone accesses the internet, whether via a WiFi network or terminal, provided that encrypted SSL connections are allowed (port 443 must be open). Some WiFi hotspots (companies, hotels …) do not allow to connect in SSL mode.
